In today’s world, many harmful ingredients are use in skin products. But, if you follow a few recipes, you can apply saffron on your skin in a way that is organic. You would need to maintain a routine, but you will start seeing signs of improvement within weeks!


Let us now look at a few recipes that will enable you to use Saffron.


The face mask will improve your blood circulation, nourish your skin and give you bright glow.


Step 1: Add 2-3 saffron strands to water in the morning


Step 2: Let this soak overnight and crush the strands with your clean fingers


Step 3: Now add around 1 tbsp. milk, a pinch of sugar and 2 or 3 drops of coconut or olive oil.


Step 4: Apply this mixture on your face and massage . Wash it off after 15 minutes.





By combining Saffron strands and Basil leaves you can even cure your acne and blemishes


Step 1: Make a fine paste with around 10-12 strands of saffron and 5-6 basil leaves.


Step 2: Apply it on your face for 10-15 minutes, following which you can wash it off with cold water.


Basil leaves are incorporate to get rid of bacteria that causes acne and pimples. anti-fungal content of Saffron effective for the treatment of acne, blemishes and blackheads.


While Saffron can be consume in many different ways taking it in the form of a tea is also an popular method to do so.



You can try the following recipe to make Saffron Tea:-



Step 1: Heat some water in a pan. When the water starts boiling, add some strands of saffron.


Step 2: Add some cardamom to the mixture and let it boil away.


Step 3: Let the ingredients sit in the hot water for about 5-7 minutes.


Step 4: Strain the tea and it's ready for consumption.


For a richer taste, you can even use raw milk or coconut milk. you can make an iced saffron tea, which is make by combining saffron with basil, honey and lemon. This way, you can ensure that you have a form of saffron tea for all seasons!

Negative side effects include nausea, dizziness, headaches, drowsiness and changes in appetite/anxiety. For others, the reaction may be severe with vomiting, yellowing of the skin or bleeding from the nose. consuming large quantities of Saffron tea increase body heat and uterine contractions.
